Enhancements to Dove Medical Press Production process

At Dove Medical Press, we strive to find innovative ways to make the peer review process simpler for our authors. This is why we are excited to announce that we have been working alongside Integra, to integrate their online correction tool into our publication process which will soon be accessible to all of our authors.

The online correction tool will allow authors to make changes to the proof of their papers themselves. We believe that the online correction tool will further speed up the publishing process, whilst giving authors more control and autonomy over the corrections and changes made to their work.

Some of our authors may already be familiar with this online correction tool if they have previously published with Taylor & Francis. It is very user-friendly, and we believe our authors will find it an easy and helpful tool.

Dove Medical Press plan to launch the new online correction tool on February 18th, 2019 with a segment of journals before including our entire portfolio of journal titles 4–6 weeks later.

We believe these changes will improve the service that our authors receive and are keen to make changes to our systems to improve author experience. Despite this change authors will continue to work with one of our inhouse editorial team and will be able to contact them if they have any questions or queries regarding the publication of their paper.
