We are pleased to announce that three of our journals have been accepted for Impact Factor ranking with Clarivate Analytics (formerly Thomson Reuters). These are

·        Cancer Management and Research
·        Clinical Epidemiology
·        Infection and Drug Resistance

Cancer Management and Research was launched in 2009 and provides an open access platform for oncology researchers to disseminate their latest findings in all areas of cancer research. Speaking of his excitement at the news, Editor-in-Chief Professor Kenan Onel of Hofstra-Northwell School of Medicine said, “On behalf of Cancer Management and Research, we are thrilled that the important role our journal plays for the cancer community has been recognized with the awarding of an impact factor. It is a testament to the translational and clinical scientists whose work forms the foundation of the field.”

Clinical Epidemiology focuses on the application of epidemiological principles and questions relating to patients and clinical care in terms of prevention, diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment. Henrik Toft Sorensen, Editor-in-Chief of the journal expressed his delight saying, “We are delighted that Clinical Epidemiology will receive an Impact Factor this year. This is a great achievement for the journal, demonstrating an increasing recognition of it within the field. We are grateful to the authors, reviewers, and all those involved for their contributions and dedication to the journal.”

Professor Suresh Antony, the Editor-in-Chief of Infection and Drug Resistance, a journal that looks at optimal treatment of infection and preventative strategies to minimize the spread of resistance, added, “We too are delighted with this outcome. We are extremely proud of the determination of all those involved and their dedication to the quality of our articles. We look forward to continuing our success and developing Infection and Drug Resistance even further”.

Kudos to the editors of these journals and of course to the authors who have published in them – we at Dove Press are thrilled. Watch this space for the Impact Factor ratings released in June!
